Getting Started

Statcompiler is a tool that allows users to build custom tables, charts, and maps from thousands of indicators across 90 countries. STATcompiler is meant to help users compare DHS data across countries and across time. Start with the tutorial below to get an introduction of the new features and how to begin building your custom table.

Customizing your Table

Once you are comfortable with building a table, the other visualizations are fairly easy. Selection of indicators, countries, survey years, and background characteristics are all the same. Here are some additional tips for customizing your table.

Vizualizing your Data

Once you have built your custom table, your data will carry over to the graphs and maps. Watch the tutorial below to learn how to visualize your data in a column chart, line graph, and map format.
