Definition: Percentage of youngest children age 6-23 months living with the mother who consumed foods rich in vitamin A in the 24 hours preceding the survey. Food rich in vitamin A include meat (and organ meat), fish, poultry, eggs, pumpkin, red or yellow yams or squash, carrots, red sweet potatoes, dark green leafy vegetables, mango, papaya, and other locally grown fruits and vegetables that are rich in vitamin A.
