One in three children in Liberia has malaria, use of mosquito nets low Monrovia, Liberia. A house-to-house survey in Liberia found that roughly one-third of children under age five (32%) tested positive for malaria and that just one-quarter of all children slept under a mosquito net the night before the interviews, according to the 2009 Liberia Malaria Indicator Survey (LMIS) released today.
